‘Back to Books’ festival in Yerevan brings back the beautiful tradition of reading!
The first-ever international festival dedicated to books and reading is being held in Yerevan, a city that has been picked by UNESCO as a World Book Capital for 2012.
That same year will see another major event for Armenia -- the 500th anniversary of Armenian book-printing.
The festival, Back to Books, (October 1-7), aims at raising the value of books and reading in society. It is the initiative of the Armenian Book Center and the Khnko Aper National Children’s Library that found support from Artbridge Bookstore, Antares Holding, the National Publishers Association and the Ministry of Culture of Armenia.
