Children’s Center Director Made Associate Professor at YSU.


The Director of FAR’s Children’s Support Foundation Center (CSFC) Doctor Mira Antonyan was recently made an associate professor of social work and social technology at Yerevan State University (YSU). She has been a faculty member at YSU since 1995. Through her work planning and implementing the first social care programs for vulnerable groups of Armenia, Mira has been a pioneer in the field of social work in Armenia.


“My teaching practice is driven by the desire to prepare future professionals and arouse students’ critical thoughts and competency in social work, particularly within the field of child protection to stimulate their learning,” Mira said. “It is within the classroom where we can stimulate fresh minds and overcome the biggest challenges in the child protection sphere.”
