Gyumri Information Technology Center (GTech) is currently holding a free seven-week long training in static web design for 15 information technology teachers from local Gyumri schools. The training will give the teachers a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and Adobe Dreamweaver, while also strengthening their general computer skills. With these skills, the teachers will be able to improve their class lessons and help the children of Gyumri become well versed with computers. The training is being taught collectively by Peace Corps volunteer Darryn Glenn and GTech Developer/Database Specialist Aram Harutyunyan, Web Coordinator Arpine Sargsyan and Academic Coordinator Arevik Sukiasyan. Teachers will be given an exam at the conclusion of the training and a certificate of completion.
