Students from the UConn paid two visits to FAR’s Child Protection Center

Students from the University of Connecticut paid two visits to FAR’s Child Protection Center this month. The students toured the facility and gained a unique in-depth view of the only institution in Armenia that performs crisis intervention and rehabilitation for vulnerable children. The center is a full-service facility where children and their families can access shelter, counseling, and outreach services 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week.

Students met with children one-on-one. They also spent time with staff and learned firsthand about how the center has helped more than 1,000 children not only cope with their struggles, but also how it gives them the opportunity to lead healthy and productive lives.
