A Dispatch from Elen and Ashot

Meet 16-year-old Elen Harutyunyan from Sisian. After completing a social media marketing course through the Armenia Workforce Development Activity- Implemented by EIF, Elen quickly landed a job as a Social Media Manager for a children's furniture store. Not only did the course enhance her professional skills, but it also empowered her to develop her own social media presence as a blogger, focusing on topics related to diabetes.
Similarly, 17-year-old Ashot Hovhannisyan from Kotayk province has also found success through the same activity. After completing the Soft Skills training, Ashot now manages the social media page for the Republican Rehabilitation Center.
Thanks to the Armenia Workforce Development Activity, both Elen and Ashot have made impressive strides in the competitive job market. They share their own path to success and the challenges they overcame, inspiring others to pursue their own paths in personal and professional life.

The Activity is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and is implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) and consortium partners, including the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU) Foundation, Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) and Civitta Armenia. The Activity aims to equip 10,000 young people at the age of 15-29 in all provinces of Armenia with working skills, highly demanded in the labor market and ensure 7,000 have better employment opportunities in the fields of ICT/high-tech, agriculture and hospitality.
