A Dispatch from Mariam Veranyan

After completing the "Managing Rural Household: From Idea to Business" course through the Armenia Workforce Development Activity- Implemented by EIF, Mariam Veranyan and her husband have transformed their approach to farming.

They have adopted a drip irrigation system for watering their non-traditional tomato crops, which has significantly improved their efficiency. This year, they are growing a special variety of tomatoes called "Rio Grande," which is ideal for drying. "We have already secured consumers for our dried tomatoes," said Mariam from Koti village of Noyemberyan region.

Thanks to the support from the Armenia Workforce Development Activity, Mariam has turned her passion into a thriving family business and is eager to share her journey to success.
