On August 14, President Serge Sarkisian attended the official opening ceremony of the first All-Armenian Youth Chess Olympiad, which is being held in Yerevan from Aug. 15-23.
Seven teams from the Diaspora, two teams from Armenia and a team from Artsakh are taking part in the Olympiad. The number of participating chess players is over forty.
