FAR is involved in launching and a critical new program introducing a new research method to prevent developmental disabilities in infants through early detection. The program, sponsored jointly with the Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics, was launched at the Austrian Pediatric Hospital of Gyumri (APH) and the maternity hospital in Gyumri.
A lecture on new ultrasound applications, given by Gayane Ayvazyan, was a highlight of the event. The young physician will spend a week working in the Gyumri maternity hospital, familiarizing local physicians with the new methodology.
“Thanks to our cooperation with FAR, we acquired not only a partner but also a co-thinker,” remarked T. Khanamiryan, director of the Traumatology and Orthopedics Scientific Center. All physicians from the Shirak region who have participated in CME training will be involved in this new program.
