June 1st marked International Children’s Day in Armenia. As per FAR’s tradition, kids at the FAR Children’s Center participated in an exhibition devoted to the holiday, demonstrating their hand-made dolls and puppets, and offering their homemade cupcakes and other baked goods to visitors.
The day was also full of surprises and excitement for the community kindergartens of Aygedzor and Chinari in Tavush Province, where we implement our Breaking the Cycle of Poverty Program (BCPP). FAR’s Youth Initiatives Club of Berd led sports, games, songs and dances for all of the kindergarten’s young children, which brought smiles and laughter all around.
