The FAR Children’s Support Foundation Center received the Best Public Event Award from the Armenian Centre of Public Relations Development for their “Best for our Children” day, which was held in Victory Park in June. This is the third year that CSFC has held this event in honor of International Children’s Rights Day. Twenty thousand people, including representatives from Armenia’s business, art, and political sectors, gathered in Yerevan’s Victory Park to bring greater momentum to this movement.
July 28th is recognized as the International Day of Public Relations and PR Specialists. This was the first time that such an award was given out in Armenia. CSFC was also awarded for their work in helping to establish a culture of philanthropy in Armenia. The ceremony, which took place at the Congress Hotel, also recognized 15 other organizations and individuals who are active in the spheres of philanthropy, health, education and policy.
