Children’s Center Staff Attend Training Seminar

In its continual effort to improve the lives of needy children in Armenia, FAR’s Children’s Center was proud to host Dr. Ani Kalaijian, a specialist in the impacts of severe trauma and the post-traumatic recovery process. Dr. Kalaijian is a Board Member of the United Nations Committee on Human Rights and the Chair of the Mentoring and Disaster Prevention Committees.

During her visit to the children’s center, Dr. Kalaijian conducted two training sessions titled “Cultivating a Meaningful World View & Forgiveness” and “Eight Steps of Conflict Resolution.” The training sessions included both lectures and applied exercises. 16 members of the Children’s Center staff attended the seminars. FAR thanks Dr. Kalaijian, and hopes to attract an increasing number of accomplished practitioners to the center.
