Dr. Edgar Housepian, FAR’s Vice Chairman and founder, visited Armenia this past week to explore future possibilities for FAR’s medical projects, and to celebrate both the 90th anniversary of Yervan State Medical University and the 5th anniversary of FAR’s Continuing Medical Education Program.
Accompanied by his son, Dr. David Housepian, the two visited His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. They also met with the Mr. Harutyun Kushkyan, Armenia’s Minister of Health, Mr. Bruce Boghosian, President of the American University of Armenia (AUA), and with FAR FAA medical staff.
