Fund for Armenian Relief staff, grantees from the Armenian National Science and Education Fund (ANSEF), and students from FAR's Gyumri Information Technology Center (GTech) recently met with representatives from the Luys Foundation -- an organization that makes it possible for talented students in Armenia to study at leading colleges and universities abroad.
FAR and Luys plan to establish a partnership between the scientists and expand »scholars of both organizations. In particular, they hope to work through one of the Luys' innovative programs called Develop Armenia, which encourages academics vacationing in Armenia to spend several weeks in the country's rural regions and to design development projects tailored to the needs of each community.
