Join Us at a Reception to Learn More About FAR’s Upcoming Young Professionals Trip to Armenia
Have the opportunity to get first-hand information from former YP participants, learn more about Armenia, and make new friends.
The Fund for Armenian Relief will hold a reception to provide more information about its Young Professionals Trip to Armenia. This event will take place on April 23 at 7:00 pm at the Zohrab Center, located in the Diocesan Complex in New York City.
The two-week trip, which is open to young professionals between the ages of 23 – 40, will take place from June 8 – June 22, 2009. During their time in Armenia, participants will visit historic sites such as Holy Etchmiadzin, Noravank monastery and the Genocide Memorial. They will also meet with religious and government leaders, including His Holiness Catholicos Karekin II and the new Minister of Diaspora, Hranoush Hakobyan.
The evening will consist of a presentation of the trip from YP Alumna Natalie Gabrelian and FAR’s Project Director, Arto Vorperian, as well as reflections of the trip from other former participants.
Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
