The work of the exceptional Armenian poet Paruir Sevak has for the first time been published in a single-volume English edition.
Yerevan - A selection of Paruir Sevak's poems was published in English in Yerevan earlier this year. Paruir Sevak: Selected Poems Translated by Jack Aslanian is the first single-volume English publication of a group of Sevak's poems.
Jack Aslanian, a graduate of Carleton College and University of Chicago, has divided time between medicine and writing, translating, and editing. In addition to a novel (Fixed Movements), he has authored numerous published reports, commentaries, reviews, critical essays, translated poems, and short stories.
