The Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center, together with Columbia University Armenian Club, the Armenian Students Association, the Armenian Network and the Knights and Daughters of Vartan, invite you to a unique evening in St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral (at 630 Second Avenue) -- on Thursday, April 22 at 7 pm -- geared towards better understanding the meaning of the events of April 24, 1915.
New York City artists, authors and others will read selections from the works of Armenian authors of Istanbul who were rounded up and taken away to be killed on April 24.
Readings will feature pieces from those Armenian authors who were successfully murdered after their deportation and those who miraculously survived.
