About 90 child protection specialists from all over Armenia attended a “Safe Mobile Connection” forum on March 10 about developing ideas and generating tactics to help prevent children from being targeted by fraudulent Internet and phone offers, which can threaten their safety.
The conference followed in the footsteps of the creation of the Child Protection Hotline and Helpline Program, which gives children a number to call for help 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Participants in the forum included representatives from local and international organizations like Child Rights Protection Units from Yerevan and other parts of the country. Among them were Laylee Moshiri, a Representative of UNICEF-Armenia and Cristina Roccella, deputy representative of UNICEF-Armenia.
