On June 12, Iverna Gardens in London will be alive with Armenian spirit and culture.

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June12 , Iverna Gardens, Kensington, London, will host a village-style street festival “The First Annual Armenian Street Festival in London” celebrating the heritage of Armenians in the UK.

On that day between 1-5pm, Iverna Gardens will be closed off to vehicular traffic and two nicely decorated tents will be erected for guests to enjoy food and drinks around the beautiful garden square, and in the presence of the awe-inspiring replica bell tower of the 7th century Haghbat Monastery in historic Armenia.

This will be the first of an annual Armenian Street Festival in London. Visitors to the Festival will have access to the normally private gardens as part of the London Open Garden Squares Weekend and to the grounds and sanctuary of St. Sarkis Church, consecrated in 1923, a little known gem in the heart of Kensington.
