On June 15th, the halls of Dilijan State College of Arts came alive with the enchanting melodies of the Pogossian Family Ensemble, led by renowned violinist Movses Pogossian. This charity concert, marking their third visit to the college, once again captivated the audience with their masterful performance and heartfelt connection to the school.
Movses Pogossian, joined by his talented children—all accomplished musicians—and pianist/composer Artur Avanesov, dedicated this special concert to the Toufayan family, the FAR for the unwavering support, as well as the Dilijan community.

“We’re amazed by the transformation of the school. The atmosphere here is wonderful, and it’s inspiring to see the facilities so well-equipped for the next generation of musicians,” Pogossian shared.
Before the concert, Pogossian held master classes for students and teachers. “His approach is truly eye-opening,” said Gohar Ayunts, a violin teacher at the college. “Despite my years of experience, I felt like a beginner again, learning new techniques and expanding my skills.”

Thanks to extensive renovations funded by the Harry and Suzanne Toufayan Foundation,
the State Art College in Dilijan, renovated and reopened in 2019, now serves as a dynamic learning center for 250 students from Dilijan and nearby communities. With modern instruments and facilities, it’s a place where young talent can truly thrive.
