Tomorrow! GTech’s Hot Summer Fling Kicks-Off the Season.

Looking for a night out, a charitable cause, or just a great time with some friends?

FAR’s GTech Committee is sponsoring the Hot Summer Fling Thursday, June 24th from 8 to 11 pm. The event will take place at the trendy Helen Mills venue, located at 137W 26th street in New York City.

The party benefits FAR’s Gyumri IT Center (GTech) in Armenia, a center to train young Armenians for a 21st century global market. Those accepted to the school have a chance to lend a hand in the rebuilding of Gyumri’s economy, which faced a downturn following the 1988 earthquake. GTech offers skilled students courses in System Engineering and Project Management, Data Processing, Software Development, Networking, and System Administration. The program opened the doors to a new virtual lab this past December and welcomed a partnership for employment opportunities with Malcolm Sanders Management. It is a sign of new development in Armenia and aims to bolster Gyumri’s economy with trained professionals are positive. To learn more about the program click here.

Whether you are looking for a good time or a charitable cause, an invite is extended to all interested in GTech.

Tickets will be $75 (the average cost of a nice night out) until June 21st and $100 thereafter. A full open bar will hydrate guests, live music will entertain, and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
